Chinese Tofu Pudding
Chinese Tofu Pudding. A delicious silken tofu in a sweet ginger sugar broth. A popular dessert served as Chinese dessert cafes. It's very easy to make at home and comes together in less than 10 minutes and it only requires 5 ingredients!
INGREDIENTS
- 900 grams silken tofu or dessert silken tofu (chilled)
- 3 cups water
- 100 grams Chinese Rock Sugar or sub with cane sugar
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar
- 5 slices ginger with skin on

INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small pot, add 3 cups of water and bring it a boil. Then add ginger slices, Chinese Rock Sugar and brown sugar. Mix, cover and reduce to a rolling simmer for 10 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved completely.
- Meanwhile divide the silken tofu between the serving bowls.
- Once the broth is ready, ladle some into each bowl. Enjoy immediately or serve cold.
